| New! |
| I
have recently added spring steel and spring stainless steel plates to
the material selection. These alloys will take a lot of abuse
without deforming. Currently, the bulk rate pricing does not
apply to these materials. I will not flute the spring materials. |
|
| Fluting: |
| Another
method to increase the durability of plates, is to flute them.
Currently, fluting is offered on stainless steel, mild steel, and
aluminum. The spring steels don't need fluting. The styles
that are fluting right now are 8b, 8c (not pictured in the drawing, but
the bottom and top pairs of holes are horizontal), 20, 21, and 22b. |

|
| Fluting adds $0.05 per plate. |

Greetings all! This page is to provide information
on the lamellar plates I am selling. They are for fighting in the SCA, as well as other organizations.
Cost:
Aluminum (0.063) - $.55
Stainless Steel (20g) - $.55
Mild Steel (20g) - $.50 Now available! 1075 spring tempered steel (0.031) - $.80 301 full hard stainless steel (0.031) - $.95 I do accept credit cards for payments, but not through paypal.
Shipping anywhere in the US is $11 via USPS flat rate box with delivery confirmation.
All orders over 1000 plates will get bulk pricing. It
will be $.05 off per plate. So 0.063 thick aluminum plates
that are normally $.55 apiece will be $.50 when 1000 or more
are ordered. This applies to all materials.
Styles can be combined, so if you'd like 500 of two
different styles, but the material is the same, then the
bulk rate applies.
Bulk plates will not be zip tied in packages of 50 like I
have been doing. I'll still be using the flat rate boxes for
shipping.
I have no problems shipping internationally. Using
the USPS flat rate boxes, the cost to Canada and Mexico is
$23.00 per box, and to all other countries for $37.00.
There is a 20 pound maximum for international shipments, so
shipments heavier will be broken down into the appropriate
number of boxes. It is more cost effective this way
rather than one large box.
I can only make it to the post office on Fridays. When the order is placed, I'll advise on
when I'll be shipping the plates.
Variations on these plates will run the same price as
long as nothing is radically changed.
These are the plates that I currently have drawn and
modeled. If you'd like changes or have a specific
design not listed, just email me a picture/sketch and I'll
process it. If you need an estimate of the number of plates needed, please include the amount of square feet that you're trying to cover.
